Full-time Temporary Receptionist for our Sioux Center, Iowa location. The position is for approximately June through August 2012. Candidate with previous office experience required; must be friendly, dependable, and professional. Responsibilities include receiving and directing incoming calls, welcoming visitors and providing general office support with a variety of clerical tasks.
Bottle Calf Herdsman for our Iowa Calving Center to work a weekend rotation; 15-20 hours per weekend with more hours possible during the week. Candidate with prior calf/cattle handling experience and the ability to operate farm equipment preferred. This individual will feed bottle calves, clean and bed calf hutch area, monitor calf health, record data on calves, maintain and clean equipment used for feeding.
Technical Services Veterinarian for our Boonsboro, Maryland location. The ideal candidate will have a DVM or equivalent, licensure or the ability to acquire a vet license in Maryland, AETA certification, ability to travel, and a strong sense for connecting with clients. This individual will be responsible for multiplying success of client breeding programs by facilitating the producing embryos from their donor cows and pregnancies in their recipient cows. Ensure disease and trauma are minimized when oocytes and embryos are harvested from donors and transferred into recipients. Contribute to a positive working environment and deliver services which exceed customer expectations.
Senior Lab Technician/Embryologist for our Boonsboro, Maryland location. The ideal candidate must have embryo and IVF lab experience, good communication and client service skills, the ability to travel, and hold a B.S. in animal science or biology. This individual will be responsible for IVF and embryo transfer production. Other responsibilities include setting up work areas, assisting veterinarians chute side, searching and evaluating embryos and oocytes, and other daily lab activities.
Receptionist/Customer Service Assistant for our Boonsboro, Maryland location. Candidate with an agriculture background preferred. Possess strong organizational and communication skills; must be friendly, professional, and dependable and have a desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. A two year associates degree or equivalent work experience and previous office experience required. This individual will provide general office and customer service support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
Part-time Farm Team Herdsman for our Boonsboro, Maryland, location to work approximately 10-15 hours per week with some weekend work expected. Candidate with cattle feeding, milking and farm equipment experience preferred. This individual will be responsible for cleaning and bedding cattle pens, feeding hay and TMR with mixer wagon, milking, sorting and moving cattle, and giving shots.
