History

Trans Ova Genetics began business in 1980 under the vision of Dr. David Faber, as a premier “on-farm” embryo transfer (ET) service organization which was an extension of a large-animal veterinary practice.  Thirty years later, the original embryo transfer team members:  Dr. Faber, Dr. Daryl Funk and Diane Broek, are all still actively involved in the business.

Built on the reputation, commitment and expertise of its founders, Trans Ova Genetics continues to focus on core competencies of outstanding animal husbandry, technological advancements and a commitment to improved agricultural applications of these principles.

Maintaining its commitment as a leader of applied reproductive technologies, Trans Ova Genetics continues to grow with the addition of housing and day center facilities across the United States. These satellite centers offer state-of-the-art, low-stress donor housing facilities with close proximity to dairy, beef, and bucking stock breeders nationwide.
