Sioux Center, Iowa - Trans Ova Genetics is celebrating a lab capacity expansion of the facilities at the Boonsboro, Maryland location, where Trans Ova Genetics provides embryo transfer (ET) and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) services to beef and dairy clients.
The expansion of the Maryland facilities will ensure that Trans Ova Genetics will continue to multiply success for beef and dairy clients by enhancing its production capabilities, and will also provide new facilities for semen sorting procedures. Construction of the new lab will begin July 1, 2016, and completion and full operation will depend on the new facilities passing all quality control checks. The current expectation is that the lab will reopen to clients at the beginning of August 2016. During the expansion, all lab procedures will be completed at the Iowa and Texas labs so that Trans Ova Maryland can continue to offer the same high-quality services and experience that clients have grown to expect.
“Trans Ova Genetics is excited to be able to provide a world class product that meets and exceeds our client’s expectations,” says Mike Burns, Maryland Site Manager for Trans Ova Genetics. “As our business grows, we want to ensure that we continue to provide the service and quality that our clients have come to expect and by expanding and improving our labs we will lay the ground work for many more years of quality products.”
