T
rans Ova Genetics began business in 1980 as a premier “on-farm” embryo transfer (ET) service organization as an extension of a large-animal veterinary practice.  As the application of ET technology rapidly grew, Trans Ova Genetics expanded with an “in-clinic” facility to house donor cows and recipients to meet the growing needs of beef and dairy cattle producers.

Maintaining its commitment as a leader of applied reproductive technologies, Trans Ova Genetics continues to grow with the addition of housing and day center facilities across the United States.  These satellite stations offer state-of-the-art, low-stress donor housing facilities within a close distance of dairy, beef and bucking stock breeders nationwide.

Today, Trans Ova Genetics continues to offer industry-leading embryo transfer technologies, in addition to advanced reproductive technologies, including in-vitro fertilization (IVF), sexed-semen, genetic preservation and cloning.  Their commitment to an embryo transfer team approach ensures greater embryo harvesting, transferring and freezing processes and has become an industry standard-of-excellence.  On-going research and applied science also allow Trans Ova Genetics to develop and implement new technologies that will help move the science of bovine genetic improvement forward rapidly.
